Anniki's starry night
Anniki was a "night owl" through and through. She was more than content sleeping the day away and doing most everything she wanted or needed to do during the evening or night. She had even accidentally gotten her livestock on her reversed schedule and to be honest she did worry if that might be detrimental to them. Thankfully they seemed to only be up part of the night and most of the morning so they still got some sunlight and day time enjoyment. That was her only realy hang up with being awake all night. Other than that it was so nice, things just seemed much quiter and especially during the summer it was cooler which she also found much more enjoyable. During the winter months that opinion would almost definitely change but for now the coolers temperatures felt amazing as she did everything she was able to do while most of the kitsu slept. Of course there were downsides. Shops didn't tend to be open twenty four hours, so she did have to come out during the day for most things she wanted. Lately she had been thinking about seeing what it would take to open an all night coffee shop or something along the lines. There probably wasn't a huge need for every shop to have an all night counter part but at least a small coffee shop that offered some food? Surely that would get some customers.
She still had a lot to look into, but for now she was content to sit on her back porch. She had a lovely hammock that was big enough to comfortably fit her wings as well and loved to relax in it and look up at the stars. The hammock was gently swaying, and Anniki was so relaxed she hoenstly thought she would spend the entire night just like that staring at the stars. The sky was so dark and pretty and the stars shone so brightly. She had gotten so lost in the stars that when she felt something headbutt the bottom of her hammock she let out a yelp of surprise and almost rolled herself off of it. Sitting up and trying to situate herself she looked down and rolled her eyes at the Bahoona Roo clicking his nails on one claw on the wood of the porch with irritation.
"Do you want to join me?" Anniki asked with a chuckle, turning into a full laugh when the blue Roo jumped up, flapping his wings to help get all the way up to her lap. She gently pet his head, and finagled herself to get comfortable again this time with her friendliest member of the livestock perched comfortably on her stomach. After just a few minutes she was back to staring at the stars, pointing to different ones and telling the Bahoona about them, and getting no reply. It didn't surprise her at all to realize the reason she wasn't getting a reply was because he had gotten too comfortable and apparently fallen asleep almost instantly.
"Oh well, I'll tell you about them tomorrow night." She promised, gently petting his back for a moment.
