Honeycomb practically lived at the beach these days - the feeling of the sand against his scales was particularly satisfying and the sound of the ocean nearby was truly so relaxing. Oh, to be a nautical kitsusagi and spend all their lives in the water! He hadn't quite the knack for swimming as some others did, aquatically inclined or otherwise, so Honeycomb often would sit by the water's edge and occasionally take his joys from giggling as seafoam tickled his hooves. It wasn't until more kitsusagi began to appear on the beach, digging or peering closely at the sand - that he realized that there might be fun things to have under the sand. He had been sitting in the sand when he came to the conclusion and rather than get up, he opted to merely perusing the area around him. He didn't need to stage a grand adventure - he could search the sand in luxury.
