As he and Tinuviel wandered back to Silverlight after a night spent under the stars at the beach, Bonny stopped dead just inside the town. What. It seemed like this place had gone a bit mad while they were gone.

There were kitsu running around like crazy, and some kind of odd new creature. Looked a little like the fyrehen.... To the extent that it was a bird. But these seemed to have flowers on their heads. Among other differences, like webbed feet and a different beak...

A random kitsu suddenly ran up to them. "Don't just stand there, these things are taking over the town! Help catch them!" Then they ran odd again, shouting to the next returning kitsu to help as well.

"Uh... Okay!" Bonny replied, after blinking for a minute in startlement. He turned to Tinuviel and pointed in a random direction. "I'll go that way, you go the other way? Meet up later!" And he was off, without really waiting for a reply from her.

He spent several fruitless minutes running after one bird then another before stopping, leaning on a building and trying to catch his breath. He needed a new tactic. Tilting his head suddenly at a thought, Bonny mumbled, "Wonder if these things like music..."

He stood up straighter and closed his eyes for a moment, then started to softly sing. It was a bit of a lullaby, meant to calm down the chaos going on around him, and maybe lure a bird close. To his surprise, it seemed to work, as a small number of the new birds turned to watch him.

The kitsu crouched slowly, then sat on the ground, all his movements calm. And he was rewarded for his patience after a few minutes, as one of the birds actually crawled right into his lap and settled there to listen to him continue his song.
