Purukumi had decided that today was a great day for a walk, even though the air was getting a bit colder, and the wind getting a little more brisk lately. Humming to herself, the pink kitsu dug through her things for some warmer clothing. In doing so, she happened to come across a costume she had bought a little while back, and decided on the spot to wear it. Spooky time was coming soon, after all! Might as well get into the spirit of things! Settling the clothing on her shoulders and a foxy mask on her head, she preened for a moment. Looked good!
After getting dressed, she set out into town, wandering through the marketplace and mostly just window shopping. She bought a sweet pastry from one stall, and walked along munching it. Then, a smallish sign about adoptions caught her eye. Moving closer she read the information provided. The council wanted them to adopt... Kits? Interesting!
Though she wasn't too sure about being able to raise a kit, it couldn't be THAT hard right? She had been raising fyrefowl and baas for a while now. And of course, a kit would be quite a bit smarter than the animals right? So they could learn things faster right!?
Maybe she could teach them to help with all of her animals? Really, that would be a super big help. It was getting a little bit overwhelming to care for so many by herself, but she also couldn't bring herself to give any of them up. They were all just so cute and (in the case of the baas) fluffy. Having another pair of paws around could be really nice, even if they were tiny paws.
Nodding to herself in a decisive fashion, she made her way over toward the council building to fill out an application to adopt. They might say yes! Might say no, too, but that would be okay. Either way, she would be just fine!
