Calix enjoyed the cooler weather overall but he was concerned for his livestock. With the weather change came more chores, specifically making sure his baas and fowl were warm and safe, and making sure their water didn't freeze when the temperature dropped low. He spent more time than usual out in the barn, checking on everyone and making sure nobody was acting odd. It was his first winter and honestly he worried a lot, surely his baas would be ok with all their wool keeping them warm but the fowl were the ones he was most concerned about. He made sure to get extra blankets and use them to make small "nests" for them to help keep more warmth around them. He didn't neglect his other chores but he was definitely using more time with the livestock.
