Keyon 'hmm'd' to himself as he read over the announcement from the Town Council, rubbing at his chin a bit. Kits without homes? Seemed a bit sad... and part of him felt as if he was too old to keep up with a Kit. But... some other part liked the idea of passing on the knowledge he held about farming and animals to the next generation. Reaching out slowly, he took one of the provided forms and found a quiet table at the Three Sisters to sit and fill it out. He put down the obvious details first, who he was, where he lived and so forth. Then came the 'why do you want to adopt?' portion. Frowning, the scruffy Kitsu sort of stumbled through a rambling reasoning and finally got up to go and turn the form in.
What he was not expecting, though, was for the Council member who took the form from him to ask verbal questions as well. Even if it was the same as the ones the form asked, maybe they just wanted to be sure folks were serious about this? That made sense. "Well, Ah..." Keyon began, clearing his throat a bit. "Ah don't know if ye've met me afore, but Ah got a farm outside'a town. Lots'a folks have me watchin' their livestock for 'em, since they don't got room in wherever they're stayin' in town. And of course, Ah've also got crops out there, a lil house ta call mah own... Ah just thought, it might be a good thing ta pass on knowledge of how ta run somethin' like that t'the next gen'ration of Kitsu. Ah wouldn't work 'em too hard when they're young a'course, but keepin' a farm ain't exactly the easiest thing in tha work, neither. So... trainin' a Kit up from day one ta learn how ta do it all could be a good thing.... right?" He smiled a little nervously and accepted the Council member's directions to go home and wait for their decision.
