Pref List: Black Nautical, brown imperial, red celestial, navy infernal, tan terrestial
Divine Prism glanced through the application questionnaire that he'd been given upon inquiry about the newly found kits wandering about town. Adoption? ...Ah, they must not have any family, or none that could be found. A handful of basic questions with a few that would require more in-depth answers and one could be responsible for an entire other being. There were a handful of lively kits, and a single orb, up for homing. Idly, with a flick of his tail, Divine took them in. Certainly none of them looked even remotely related to him, but that didn't turn him away. He was full of love and what was a child without a home but someone who could eagerly accept that love?
Though his home was currently occupied by just he himself, it had enough space that one small kit could fit. Not only that, there were enough hands in town to help make a bigger space for when the kit grew as well. With a quick sweeping glance over the kits and one behind him to assure him of a seat, Divine started to fill out the questionnaire. Who was he? Why, Divine Prism, actor and artist, at your pleasure. Did he have the room for a child? Why of course! Did he think he had skills he could pass on to the child? Just Who did they think he was?? Why did he want to adopt?
Well, why did anyone want to do anything? The thought of raising a child was one he enjoyed, even if these weren't of his magic. The kits were in need of a stable home where they were cared for and loved and he had a plethora of both those things. While his craft business was small, it was stable enough that he'd have both the time, energy and ability to care for a child. There was even a small pet or two he could garner, should his new kit be interested in such a thing. He could--no he would!--teach them to be confident in themself, and to hold themself high. Being able to put on a grand show, even if one wasn't feeling it was something of an art.
Divine continued on this train of thought, more and more passionately until he ran out of room on the page. While he longed to bound forth, turn in his paper and make a case with all the boundless passion he could bring to heel, Divine sat stock still as he bore all his attention to rereading over his words. Passion was good--necessary even!--but precision, consistency and fluency would be what swayed the council to favor his case.
Once he'd ensured his t's were crossed and his i's were dotted, he carefully stood and handed over the questionnaire to the one who'd handed it to him. After a charming smile and a slight bow, he swept over towards the kits. Once he had their attention he pulled out a handful of small colorful sun catchers, seemingly from thin air. Though relatively simply made with some of the local sea glass, he'd polished the pieces to such a high shine that they were enough to have the kits oohing and aahing. He bequeathed each of the kits with one with enough gravitas and pomp that they were giggling and running off to show them to other nearby adults. He even settled one in with the blankets surrounding the lone orb in the group. While it may look like he was just trying to schmooze his way into a better chance at being awarded the opportunity to adopt a kit, he truly just wanted to share something with a bit of sparkle with them. This way even if they went to other homes, they'd still have a bit of shine for themselves and possibly even want to come around to learn more about the process from him.
