26. Visit the Harvest Festival-2,390 word count -Log of all Hallowed Haunt posts

Ioulos hopped off the hayride and looked around it looked like a fun place to hang out. It looked like there was a lot planned during this event. He wasn't sure what he would dress up for if he entered the Costume contest, he was wearing a mask but he wasn't really wearing a costume. The corn maze looked like it would be fun and getting snacks for me nice. He had a house in the village and he was thinking of building his own place in the outskirts at some point. Right now he was just starting out slowly with his little group of Fyeroos.

Saba arrived at the harvest festival with Nima the kit she had adopted she was excited to start a life with Nima and teach her all sorts of things, now it was time to allow Nima to have fun as a child at their first festival together. They rode the hay ride to the festival together and then started to look around to see what Nima wanted to do first at the festival.

Nima's eyes were wide as she looked around at everything, she had been wandering around Silverlight when some kitsu came to gather her and the other kits that had arrived up. She had been confused and a little worried about what all this meant for her and the others, then Saba had come into her life taking her in and now they were here together at this festival and there was so much going on she was a little overwhelmed by everything.

Nima nodded she had seen the other kit around town since they were kinda all found in the same area, she hadn't gotten to talk to them yet and now she was a little overwhelmed by all the questions so suddenly. She was glad that their parent had told them to slow down so she could catch up with the conversation. "We just got here, but we did ride the hay ride even though we live in the outskirts." She said cheerfully not knowing she was accidentally bragging. "My name is Nima.." Then she paused "Since we just got here I haven't decided what to do first besides the hayride."

Saba laughed "Oh don't worry about it, I'm sure they all are adjusting, I'm Saba it's nice to meet you both." She said warmly.

Nima smiled softly at Spec, they were nice and perhaps she needed a friend who was brave and bold, where she was shy and more reserved. Nima looked to Saba as Keyon agreed that they could run around and look at stuff by themselves. "Please Saba.." She said. After all Nima wasn't a helpless being.

Saba smile "I'm sure you are right Keyon and it will be fine for them to go look at things without us hovering over them yes it is fine with me." She said warmly.

Nima smiled at Spec and then said "Alright then where should we go first?"

Nima smiled and nodded "That sounds like a good idea." She had not had much chance to try new fall foods yet, except for the things that Saba had made for her food wise, which wasn't the same as having food at a festival. She turned back to Keyon and Saba "Thank you." She said cheerfully.

Nima nodded she looked around trying to decide what to play. "We could go do the bobbing for apples." She suggested "Or what if we playing bean bag toss?"

Patch was a bit shy but she wanted to enjoy the festival too, so she walked from her encampment in the Silverlight outskirts to the festival and started looking around to decide what she wanted to do. She walked over and got a cinder and some snacks and sat down to see what others who had come to the festival were doing. She wasn't very likely to go up to someone else to greet them and make friends but she was open enough to accept friendship from others. She saw little kits running around which she wasn't very familiar with since she had only recently been summoned to this world.

Since Nima had Spec to help her be brave she had decided to take the left path in the darker area of the orchard, she figured that the moonlight path was most likely a trick, after all this was a scary trail so bright was most likely not the way to go in this journey. She hoped she was right and she wouldn't be out on the first round, but if she was out of the first round she would have Spec to comfort her. It turned out she wasn't very good at bean bag toss but perhaps she would be good at scary trails.

Nima smiled even though they were taking the creepy path she was confident they would be ok, her tail was swishing too as they moved along she was curious to see what other kitsu would choose the same path as they did. "I am brave since you are with me." She said cheerfully.

Nima laughed when the group all met back up it seemed the journey wouldn't be ending for any of them quite so soon, so that was really nice. She heard the hooting sound and felt like something was watching them but she wasn't sure what it was and she was faced with choosing left or right once again and she had already chosen left but that hadn't had an ending to it left and right had both been fine. She shrugged and picked right, the worst that would happen would be she came to a dead end and wouldn't reach the end of the haunted orchard and that was alright. She smiled at Spec and said "Come on let's go right this time." She said with a confidence she didn't often have.

Nima smiled "Yes candy is really nice." She said warmly and she shrugged since she wasn't familiar with animals she didn't really know what might make a hooting sound. "It could be a kitsune or pet out there trying to scare us to make the trail more scary." She suggested

It seemed so far Nima's system had been working out for her, she had no idea if it would keep working but she was going to stick with it for now. She looked at bit worried looking back at the path the other group had taken and saw they had not joined them on this leg of the journey. She did like the fade web and thought that was kinda pretty. "Oh Spec look isn't this neat??" The scarecrows made her a bit nervous though. "Come on let's go left." She said.

Nima was a bit out of breath laughing when she realized the scary scarecrow that had been following them was a scarescrow tied to a lallabaa. "Oh my goodness Spec, this is scary but it's fun too." She said to him she wasn't planning to change her method since it had gotten her this far she took them to the right. She smiled at the other kitsu and was curious to see if they would follow her or go to the left instead. This would determine who would make it through the haunted orchard.

Ioulos had never been to a Haunt faire before so when he hoped on the hay ride to head to the fair he was rather interested when he heard that they were allowed to keep anything they found in the hay. He wasn't really sure what he hoped to find or what he thought he might find. He breathed in the cool fall air he loved the crisp smell. He leaned back on the hay not minding at all that it was a little itchy. He looked up at the brown kitsu with the glowy eyes and said "Thanks for the ride." He wasn't sure how fair away the fair was but the ride was nice all the same.

Ioulos hoped off the hayride and saw the blue and green kitsu he wasn't really sure what all there was to do at this festival since this was his first time going. He wasn't sure if this would be his favorite season since he had only been summoned here recently. He had gotten a house in the village but he was already making plans to build a home in the outskirts perhaps not far from where the festival was being held. He wasn't really sure what he wanted to do first but he figured he would find something to do sooner or later.

Ioulos smiled and he nodded "Yes I'm not sure what it is just yet, but yes I did find something." He said with a chuckle. He looked at the thing he had never seen anything like it before. He held it out to Beryl. "I have no idea what it is and why it was in your cart, kinda looks like a rock." He said puzzled.

Ioulos shrugged "I hadn't decided yet, I've never been to a festival before, I was only just recently summoned so I really don't know where to start, found somewhere to stay and got some roos that's about as far as I've gotten do you have any suggestions?"

Ioulos smiled at the kitsu who had greeted him "Well it has been nice talking to you and those are all great suggestions I will certainly have to do all that stuff and ride the hay ride again later."

Ioulos had been finding a good bit of silver in the hay, he figured he would turn in to the kitsu running the hay ride since it must have fallen out of someone's pocket and since he didn't have any pockets it clearly wasn't his. He didn't think it was a reward or prize since it seemed odd to him to just leave silver laying around for no reason. He also had plans to play games and get treats at the festival. He was also hopeful he would meet some interesting kitsus that he would be able to talk to.

Berry Skittle arrived at the maze she was curious what was going on and she wanted to do fun fall stuff too!! She heard another kitsu ask if the green kitsu dressed as a witch was running the corn maze and she waited to hear the answer as well. She was really excited to see how long it took them to get through the maze and see if there were any exciting surprises in the maze. She didn't want to interrupt so she figured she would introduce herself in a little bit. She wiggled her tail in excitement ready to get into the maze.

Berry Skittles was really excited when the kitsu told them they might find some kool stuff in the maze, she turned to the other kitsu who wanted to go into the maze as well. "I'm Berry Skittles, so what do you think, go in together or split up and see who can find the center?" She asked and then she turned can to the host and said "Thank you for running this, it looks really amazing. She said in a cheerful tone. She couldn't argue that it might be more fun to search with the other kitsu rather than going off alone. Still she wasn't going to boss them around since they had only just met.

Berry Skittles took his paw "Alright then we are a party!!" She said in an excited tone, she was curious to see what they might find in the maze. "Alright let's get going so we can find adventure in the maze!!" She smiled "It's nice to meet you by the way." She said laughing. She smiled at Jade too. "Well we better get going if we want to find anything."

Berry considered as they came to their first choice she bit her tounge as she was thinking "Ok how about we go left!!" She didn't know anything about mazes so she was just going off gut choice. "And next time you can pick which direction we go so it's fair and I'm not leading the party the whole way." Her tone was happy and light.

Berry felt like something was watching them but no matter how much she looked she couldn't figure out where the feeling was coming from. She nodded when Gaelin decided which way they would go next and she waited to see where they ended up next.

Berry looked to Gaelin as she tried to decide which way they should go next. "Humm do you think we are close to the center yet and should go stright or maybe left is right answer this time." Two heads were better than one so maybe that would help them get to the center of the maze, she didn't feel like they were being watched anymore she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

Berry nodded, she hadn't even considered taking things from the maze since she didn't want to steal things from Jade that wouldn't be nice. "Straight it is then!!" She said in an excited tone curious where they would end up this time.

Berry wasn't really bothered that something else was in here with them she figured it was either another kitsu or perhaps Jade had a pet that was running around in here with them. The outfits on the scarecrows were really pretty. "Sounds good to me and then I'll pick unless we find the center." She said with a laugh.

Berry considered their choices and said "How about we go right this time since we haven't gone right much as of yet?"

Berry looked to Gaelin "Well that didn't work, but this maze is full of cute outfits" She said laughing "Well your turn to pick the direction we go."

Berry wasn't wearing any outfit, but Gaelin was so of course it was clear what outfit he liked best, Berry was just wearing a cute festival mask.

Berry was excited they had made it to the center of the maze. "Gaelin we did it." She said with excitement and she looked at the two super cute creatures and waited to find out what they were called too.
