Synthia wasn't exaclty what you could call 'industrious'. Sure, she spent her silver wisely and invested early on in the wonders of fyrefowl and lallabaas, but she didn't go into the livestock industry because she thought it would be a keen business venture - it just turned out that way! She'd sell or trade the eggs that her hens lay and when it came time to shear the wool from her lovely lallabaa, she was always happy to donate or sell the wool. All wool donations went to Home Sewn - she wanted to see that shop stay in business however she could! Did she wear clothing of her own? Well, no but that didn't mean that she didn't appreciate all of the work Jade Mirage went into to supply the rest of the community with lovely outfits. It was generally a textile issue for Synthia - wool didn't feel quite right on her fur - it was better to go without it.

Being on the hunt for profitable ventures, but not knowing quite what she would do with the results, Synthia began to forage around to find any little thing that may be of worth. She knew she wasn't going to get very far by selling sticks or rocks, and certainly not clumps of grass on the gorund - anyone could do that! But when she found the wild flower seeds, she began to wonder if somehow, she would be able to cause these seeds to grow. Her powers were earth inclined, so as the seasons started changing for the colder, maybe she could use some ability within her to keep the ground warm and make the seeds more robust against ice or snow. Or, wait, maybe that was the job for someone who was better with fire? Well, either way, she found that she was planting the seeds in late summer and trying to tend to them dutifully before the winter came. One of her neighbors observed her planting in the wild flower seeds and ended up pulling her aside. They'd seen the flowers that the seeds had been from and in fact, while many of the plants in question did flower, they were actually edible too! Also, her neighbor added in a mock secretive manner, these plants had a particularly good smell and taste. Some were bitter, but others had a savory feel to them. Synthia was having a hard time keeping up entirely - why would she want to plant something bitter in taste, savory or not?

However, the idea was planted, so to speak and as Synthia set down to her backyard garden, that idea began to grow. There were others who wanted the final product of these seeds and perhaps they were willing to pay decent silver in order to get their paws on it.. If she was able to get these seeds in the ground, maybe they would sprout by the end of winter, or the beginning of spring. Then, upon harvesting them, she could also take new seeds from these flowers and, depending on if the plants sold well after harvest, Synthia would continue to plant the wildflower seeds. They always appreciated a new way to gain more funds so that they could tend to their livestock, and potentially buy more of them. The idea of mere plants in the ground being valuable to others certainly seemed like an easier venture than the cost of feeding and raising livestock, but Synthia was content to do both. They wanted the best for themselves, for their livestock and if they had the opportunity in th efuture - though no kitsu could prodict the future - a family.

Maybe these wildflower seeds have a hidden purpose.
