Guidelines, How-To, and FAQ

1. How to submit for a custom:
   1. You will need to go to the Crescent Curios shop in the World tab, and buy the appropriate item for the custom that you want. After this, submit a claim with the description of what you want, and link any references. Attach the item(s) that you bought to the claim. Then wait for your new pet to arrive!
   2. One wishing star per claim please.
2. How to know what rarity you should buy an item for:
   1. Take a look at the Traits in the encyclopedia, the Traits that you want will determine the rarity of your pet. Take the highest rarity Trait that you want, and that is how rare the whole pet is. For example, if I want a pet with all Common Traits, except for Chest Fluff, then the pet would be an Uncommon rarity, as Chest fluff is an uncommon trait. 
   2. Remember each subspecies has traits that each kitsu of that species must have, to find these traits go to the subspecies page in the encyclopedia. Taking traits from two or more subspecies will cause your kitsu to become a hybrid and hybrid is a rare trait.
3. Can I choose who takes my custom claim? 
   1. No, customs are taken by staff as they come in, on a first come first serve basis. Please note that you may be waiting some time, depending on staff backlog.
   2. At a later point, choosing which colorist does your custom may be an option with RLC.
4.  How many slots are availble at one time?
   1. Slots will be limited based on how many custom items are in the shop at once. Once we get through our backlog more items will be avaible to purchase in the shops.
5. Can I bring over an old pet from the previous Kitsusagi shop(s)?
   1. You certainly can, there is a special item for this called a Soul Caller. For more information, see the Conversion Customs page.
6.  I want to convert a pet from another shop how would I go about doing this?
   1. Pets from other shops may be brought over using the same process as normal customs as listed above. However we will need proof of ownership whether it be a link to a TH or a certification that the pet you are converting is yours.
7. Can I get a custom with clothes?
   1. Customs usually come anadorned. Though from time to time, we will have a Fashion Show event. We will ask for certain themes or looks. You can submit a classic kitsu with clothing you feel fits the theme or you could submit other ideas in images or as moodbaords. The Winner(s) get a version of the clothes for free and the shop gets new clothes as well.
8.  Are cosplays allowed?
   1. Yes, however they do have some rules they must follow. Cosplays are going to be Costumes. When you want a Cosplay the Colorist will also make a version for both A and B lines for the shop. The in-shop ones will use the available clothing colors and patterns. The kitsu that originates the costume can have the original coloring. They will also have a unadorned version so think of what you want on your kitsu's fur!
   2. The cresent wand item must be applied to these kitsu to purchase these costumes.
9. Can Customs have acessories?
   1. Customs can have small acessories such as a hair clip or a bangle/necklace or a simple hat. Anything bigger would fall under clothing and must use a cresent wand to request those items. Items you request may not always fall under what you imagine them to be as we still need to try to fit them into our world.
