Bird watching

Nido was out in the woods, she was looking for birds today, so she was careful to move quietly she didn't want to scare them away before she had a chance to see any of them. She walked slowly looking up into the trees trying to spot any that might be hidden from her sight since not all birds were brightly colored and easy to see. She saw movement but she was only able to see a flash of color before the bird flew away and she didn't really get a good look at the bird. She frowned but continued to walk slowly so she would actually be able to see a bird clearly. 

 

Perhaps she needed to make a bird feeder and collect some seeds so she could have the birds come to her. It was actually a pretty good idea and something she would have to try when she got home. For now she was going to keep trying at her bird-watching trip. She stopped when she spotted a brown bird with white speckles on its feathers just resting in a tree. She smiled as she quietly watched the pretty creature. She moved on after watching the bird for a little while. 

 

She was looking around but she didn't see anything for a little while as she moved along. There wasn't a jay bird in sight and she was a little bit disappointed that she didn't spot one. Perhaps they were really rare and the odds of her finding one weren't very good. She would have liked to get to know a jay bird and perhaps name one. She was fond of the color blue and planned to get blue fyrehens when she got a coop to keep them in. Birds were pretty creatures. Currently she didn't have the funds to get a coop built so she had to wait till she was able to get what she needed and then get the birds. 

 

She spotted a few more birds on her walk, nothing really rare, and certainly no jay birds, since they just wanted to avoid her clearly. Then she headed back home and found some materials to build her own bird feeder. Then she went to find seeds that she thought the birds would like. She went to find some sunflower seeds to lay out to dry and no other smaller seeds that she could lay out to dry. It would be a little while before everything was ready but it was a start to having the birds come to her instead of her having to hunt down the birds.

 

It was a lovely hobby watching birds, they were such cute elegant creatures, well normally in her mind, she supposed that wasn't always true but she didn't really want to think about birds being clumsy.  She was fairly pleased with how her day had gone, perhaps her next attempt at bird watching would go better than this try. She was hopeful that it would at least.
