Find Elizabeths' Missing Fyreroo

Joy was headed to see Lady Elizabeth Stradivarius as one of her meloduckies wasn’t looking too good so she was going to get some advice when she noticed the terrestrial was distracted looking around. “What’s wrong?” Joy was surprised to hear that one of Lady Elizabeth’s Fyeroo was missing. Apparently, it was a fairly rare one named Sunrise. They were light tan with pastel plumage. Considering how generous Lady Elizabeth was when it came to helping first time farmers out with animals Joy felt it was only right to give a bit of help here as well. First thing first Joy went to the area where the other fyeroo and hens were at.  There was a hen there that looked like the roo that was missing. She checked in the coop and around the area. Nothing. She was hoping the roo had just circled back and Lady Elizabeth had missed him. Scratching the back of her neck she started to widen her search. She went over the fenced in area where the lallabaa were at and noticed there was one frolicking with butterflies and a possible heard leader glaring at her. It was hard to see in all the fenced area but Joy thought better of getting into that pen with the herd leader. She walked the pen line a few times looking in. No pastel feathers in view. Tan either for that matter.  She saw two wistella keeping an eye on her as well. But no luck. Moving over the small barn she looked in. it was a bit dark so the hair on the back of her neck rose just a bit. “Hello, Sunrise?” She felt silly for calling out but could faintly here Lady Elizabeth calling and clucking as well as shaking a grain bucket.  There was clearly no answer back to Joy’s calls.

She poked around in the barn a few times. It was dark in there so she left the door open. No luck as she picked a few lids to some feed kept inside as well as looking under the bench. The hay was replaced here already so Lady Elizabeth must have done chores in here first before noticing her roo was missing. Rubbing the back of her neck she moved out to the pond area. It was technically in the large pen but far enough away from where the lallabaa were at that she felt safe. She didn’t see the roo over here either. Just where did it go? She herd a back and saw one of the wistella barking and coming toward her. Joy fled from the pen and made sure the gate was closed and the barn was closed back up.  She was glad she didn’t end up getting hurt. She didn’t know if the wistella would have actually bitten her but it was better not to risk it.  She started to wander the edge of the area where Lady Elizabeth farm land ended when she noticed it a small pastel feather dropping from a tree she moved over and looked up. In the tree there the roo! It was sleeping soundly. She thought that was odd since the other animals were up and moving about but perhaps it had just wandered off to a quite area to get some rest. Either way she wasn’t going to be able to climb up and get it. Heading back to Lady Elizabeth she brought the kitsusagi back to the tree and showed her. The shopkeeper seemed very relieved that her roo hadn’t been eaten. Neither of them could reach it though so they would just have to wait for it to wake up and come down on it’s own. Joy wished Lady Elizabeth well and asked her question about her meloduckie since the crisis was over. After getting some advice she repeated the name of the herbs to request ground up as medicine and headed into town to get some medicine for her own fowl troubles.
