It was the way he had learned to distract Trouble and Trouble Jr- so he could dive in and check.
He saw an egg and was excited for a moment- and then he rose the egg through the air and his thick tail got excited. It was fertile.
Exhausting from having made the distraction that he looked over and saw the other chicken.
For some reason it was very weird. He watched the chicken ... it was pale and all he could see was it being away, pacing then quietly sneaking up upon him.
Stressing.
"I guess I gotta check under your nest next.." Checking the nest and when he looked in. And as soon as he looked back up- the butterball chicken- was EYE TO EYE WITH HIM!
