Barn

Luin was surprised when she was waved down by the brown kitsu. She had spoken with this shop keeper once in the market. Listening to how there was a an overflow in the woolly creatures she looked at them with a smile. “Ah well. I really don’t know anything about them.” She was looking at fluffy patched purple lallabaa. Even she had to admit it was a cute and fluffy creature. She reached over the wooden pen and patted it’s head. “I suppose watching one or two wouldn’t hurt. They seem quite friendly.” “Oh they are easy to care for and quite docile. It’s a good way to make some silver if you take care of their wool and shear them regularly.” The reminder of silver was a welcome one but Luin was sure the feeding and care of the creatures would be costly. Still a promise of a barn or pen for free was tempting. “I’ll take a barn then.” This way she could walk the sheep in the day in a grassy area and as long as she kept an eye on them a place to keep them out of the rain seemed more pressing.

With that settled they headed home and Elizabeth took measurements and Elizabeth and she worked all day to help erect a barn place. How there were so many parts building it made her respected the brown kitsu’s work a bit more. It was far harder to farm then she thought if this all went into it. Exhausted Luin nearly fell asleep in the barn but managed to trudge her way into her house to sleep. The next day Elizabeth brought over the lallabaa and it was another day of explaining care and shearing and all the work that goes into the fluffy creature’s care. Still Luin was happy to have a fluffy creature to pet and mother. It was odd but she liked spoiling the creature.
