Submission (#151) Approved

Odette finished the last her of her dances for the day in the market area. She had a fairly large bag of silver coins. Stretching with her arms up in the air she headed to the local tavern to get a bite to eat and a drink before she headed back to her home. Feeling wonderful she found herself seated near an imperial who was busy writing down some numbers of some kind with a quill. Their golden horn sparkled like gold in the lighting of the tavern. His clothing was exotic and very attractive. It was clear he would stand out anywhere. Glancing around she didn’t see any of the normal faces she was getting to know well. That was a bit disheartening but still she continued as she normally did. Odette placed her order and thought for a moment before she added something extra quickly handing over the coin. She knew she had made a hefty amount from her dancing today and as well she knew when good fortune came to her it was only proper to share it with another. Often she would take Cerci for a meal or buy a meal for Theris or others she recognized at the tavern. Sadly with them absent today she was going to buy a meal for a stranger. It was a nice way to make a friend but also improve a strangers day. Once the order came she danced back to her seat and set her food down then moved to the imperial’s table setting the food down. When they glanced at her questioningly she quickly responded with a wink and smile. “Sharing my good fortune with another after a great day at the market. Enjoy.” With that she gave them a wave and moved back to her own seat to finish her own meal having no idea of the small favor she had just earned. As it is said the god of commerce Devrion  rewards generosity and the fostering prosperity of others.
