Submission (#4823) Approved

Luin had a wonderful time at the beach and found a kitsu who had a good taste in books to boot. She felt like she could make a good friend there. She had found nice place to curl up and sleep on the beach last night as it had been warm and pleasant.
As she stretched her arms up while heading back into town there was mayhem! She blinked several times at the moving and quacking flowers before she realized that kitsu were scrambling to catch them. She was asked to join in by someone who was passing her. She wasn’t sure if they were dangerous or not but based on how others were just scooping them up she supposed they couldn’t be too bad. She went to help out only to have another kistu accidently step on her foot while she was mid grab on the petaled pest. Cursing under her breath she missed and limped around for a moment trying to regain her sense of balance and give her foot a moment to recover. She wasn’t even sure who bumped/stepped on her as when she looked around there were several kitsu.

Pushing her hair back she tensed back up and got her head back into the game to catch the waddling wild things. Lunging left she wrapped an arm around a squirming duckling creature. Holding it up she was proud over herself thought the tiny beast was not pleased in the least. Bringing the small creature to the kitsu who seemed in charge she learned a bit more. It seemed these were not harmful and could be raised? Well she would have to ask Elzabeth to help her with a pond later. For now she placed the small creature in the pen that they had quickly cobbled together to catch the Meloduckies since that is what they were called according to the kitsu in charge. It was a cute name. Luin spend the next hour chasing, herding and trying to catch the duckies before she was spent. She was told she could keep one of them for her efforts which she though was nice. She picked the lively one that seemed like the one she had first caught. It seemed cute to her.
