Darwin came back from his competition for the Cornhole game and was extremely surprised that he had won it to begin with. He looked around as he started to talk into town and saw a small duck like creature run past him. and then another. He looked up and then all around and saw some others in the distance and was not sure what was going on as he saw several others trying to catch the small duck like things. He watched them and they were very cute and he wondered if they just needed a good home to go to. He hurried home and got some seeds for the little things so that he could maybe try to win one over and keep it for himself. He set out to the middle of town and he looked around for a good place to catch the attention of the small things and he watched as one waddled into view. He showed off the seeds in his hand and sprinkled them on the ground as he walked back towards his home sprinkling the seeds as he went along and watching as the small thing followed him home. He was happy to see the little one being so happy with following him, he had never been much of an animal person but he was very much interested in these little things, they just spoke to him with how cute and fashionable they were. He was very taken with their beautiful look and feathers and he was looking forward to getting to know this little...meloduck. He hoped that the small creature would like to be here with him as much as he liked having it here but he would let it move on if it so chose to. He settled it near the side area and left it with some seeds as he headed off to Farm Song to find somethings, he would need for keeping it happy and safe here in his yard.
