Submission (#61) Approved

Odette went to visit Elizabeth at her shop after having met her in the market square it was then she learned of the amazing joy of watching feyhens dart around and scratch the ever loving daylights out of the ground while chasing bugs. It was hilarious and Odette had to admit she was more then a bit amused. It turned out having feyhens were quite a common thing in silverlight but she had no idea. She had a small home that was being provided seeing as she was new to town and willing to work for coin for upkeep of it and of course meals. It seemed the folks in silverlight were just very friendly. The idea of fresh eggs to help save on food costs didn’t hurt either. Thus Odette decided to take Elizabeth up on her offer to build a coop for a feyhen. At first Elizabeth had to come to her new home and look it over and help determine a place for the coop. After that Odette had to clear the area get it ready as Elizabeth would have to come another day and help her build it seeing as Elizabeth was very busy with her own shop. Odette understood this and worked hard to clear the area of the brush, remove the stones and level the ground as much as she could in the space Elizabeth told her too so they could be ready on the day to build. Elizabeth said she would work on doing some partial assemblies to save time the day of which Odette appreciated.

Meeting Elizabeth at her shop very early in the morning Odette was full of energy after her morning stretches. “Hello Hello.” She chipperly greeted the terrestrial kitsu. There were several pannels that looked almost like they were partly done and sharp pointy things poking out of the pockets of Elizabeth’s skirt that Odetter guessed were nails since a hammer was stuck into the other’s skirt band. Lifting and helping haul the half done panels and other wood back toward her small provided home Odette was not surprised how heavy they were. She had constructed wooden parts for a theater in the past and knew the weight of such things. She was careful with her paws having wrapped them in cloth to help protect them form splinters. Her body while strong was also her coin income so she was careful when needed. Honestly she should have splurged for some gloves but she didn’t have the coin for that right now. The sun was creeping up higher in the sky by the time all the panels were there along with the rest of the wood and under Elizabeth’s gentle and patient instruction the pair built the coop. More flattening had to be done with some more clearing as Elizabeth clearly knew what she wanted. While doing so Elizabeth was explaining feyhen care for any future feyhens that Odette might end up with and of course going to the Farm Song shop for any needs or repairs that had to be done. Odette smiled at the sale’s pitch and figured it must be effective as the shop was always busy which is why they had to schedule this today as Elizabeth had time for it. The sun was up high and it was hot by the time the pair was done. Feeling quite tired Odette thanked Elizabeth and decided she was in no shape to sing or dance this afternoon as she would likely make herself ill. Instead she would go to the square and offer to write poems today as while not as industrious it wouldn’t kill her after all this other work she had done.
