Aki opened her eye slowly after a moment of stillness. She looked about and found herself right in the middle of a small village. The sun was just barely give off light and it was quite except for the real risers and some wild hens racing about for their morning meal. A new familiar warmth settled within Aki that made her feel safe in this village. But she could not seem to remember anything about this place. How strange to feel safe in a place she didn't know?
