Nido has never really looked for someone, they just go about things in a way that feels natural to them. She happened to meet a kitsu she liked named Ashe when they were looking for help to build their cottage in the forest. Or at least they tired and then Nido had to find another kitsu to actually help both of them. Still the kindness to try to help was enough to spark a relationship between Nido and Ashe. Nido doesn't need a perfect kitsu by their side she just needs one that cares.
