Plume had never really thought about gender expression. He saw himself as a farmer and he loved what he did. It was really watching the Fyrefowls that had given him any thought on gender at all. Roos did their own thing and helped protect the hens from harm and the hens laid eggs and helped with pest in the garden. He had chosen masculine sense he felt like he identified with the rooster's role more. Might have been a silly way to get there, but its how he got there.
