There was rustling in the bushes where he knew most would pass to get to the up and coming city.
Out from the bushes- a kitsu with a cape tripped out of the bushes.

"WOAH!" They shook themselves off and brushes some leaves out of their flag and outfit.

"Hello there!"

Borialis nodded.

"I'm just a bit lost. Where is the city from here?"

Borialis pointed with his nose and continued weaving his basket.

"Will you be coming to the festival? Festival of Loooovvveee and prrriiiddeee?"

Bori rose an eyebrow.

"You don't know? It's to celebrate love in all its forms! To celebrate one's self! Like me-" They turned around. "I am Lesbian~ and a transgender. What do you represent? What flag? What love? And I honestly always ask about pronouns! Those are important! Are you a he/her/they/them?"

Borialis held the basket with his legs on top of the rock where water flowed easily around him.

"I'm ....." Borisalis had to think this over. In his life before this- everyone just simply called him a he. Which was fine, because he didn't seem to see others as genders, just simply others. He didn't lean towards any gender for preference. They were Lesbian, so what was he?

"I don't see... myself as Lesbian, because that would mean rejecting others that aren't female if I'm correct. I don't care whatever my partner identifies as. Just like I really don't identify myself at all. I guess male is ok but what flag I am, I am unsure of all the flags or what they represent. I'm out of the loop. Gushy isn't my thing- pride isn't my thing- I like those whom can take a joke- be a joke- whom know how to survive because I simply want to survive. Whether that's with or without anyone, I don't mind."

"Ah.." The other kitsu gave a nod and sat down on the grass closest to the river.

"It sounds like... maybe Aromatic...how can I explain.. those who either do not experience romantic attraction or do so in a nontraditional way. Maybe even pansexual, those whom don't care what their partner identifies as?"

"MM..." Bori thought it over. "I guess that seems like what I kinda view the love market. Just being in the love market isn't something that I singularly want but if there is someone whom survives- and doesn't mind spending it with me- I think that's ok too."

The other Kitsu smiled. "Well. If not for anything- there will be food and drink~ and pretty sparkly things I'm sure, It seems like a nice place to gather items, and maybe you can find someone you can survive with there? I know it may not be today but in the days to come? Everyone will be there I'm sure... because others love to love~"

Bori pointed down the river. "If it's a celebration then it should be down the river and then to the left not too far but not too close."

"I see! Well I needed a place to make some pride flags- make some samples. If you'd like- for letting me stay- I can make you a flag?"

Bori began weaving again. "Sure... " He pulled a rope from the water and a fish popped up on top of the kitsu and flapped around panickly before falling back in to the water!

The kitsu panicked- flailed a little- realized what had happened and started laughing! "Was that a trick?!"

Bori chuckled to himself as he continued to weave.

"You can refer to me as He-" Boralis continued. "The others I don't care for... "
